Caitlin is a Clincial Psychology Registrar and works full-time in our practice offer assessment and treatment services for young people and presenting including our group programs on social skills, emotional recognition and regulation, mindfulness and anxiety on Saturdays. Caitlin is a friendly, calm and engaging clinican who acitively seeks to understand every client she works with. Caitlin initially joined the HMHK team as a provisional psychologist as part of her training and was supervised and trained directly by Principal Psychologist, Birgitta Osterberg. Showing her dediation to youth mental health and her skills in building rapport and working to support and assist young people, Caitlin quickly became a valued member of the team that HMHK team. Caitlin has experience in assessing and treating children for a variety of concerns, including: challenging behaviours, anxiety, depression, anger, autism and specfic learning disorders.
Caitlin has obtained a Bachlor of Psychology (Honors) from Macquarie University and a Masters of Clinical Psycholofy from the Australian College of Applied Psychology. Caitlin once registered will be a Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Caitlin will also be a registered service provider under the Australian Government’s Better Outcomes for Mental Health Care Program and will be able to provide services under the Australian Government and Aspect Australia’s Helping Children with Autism program and the Australian Governments National Disability Insurance Scheme.
